A play on the name of the degenerative disorder, Parkinson's disease, which can refer to a couple of things:

1. The immature desire flick the flint wheel of a lighter repeatedly when idle. Widely considered irritating.

2. Hastily sparking a joint/cigarette/etc. without at all checking if the attending party is willing or prepared.

1. "Holy hell, Jim-- can you stop lighting that lighter? You act like you've got Sparkinson's or something."

2. "We told you we weren't ready to smoke yet, but you still lit that joint without asking. Do you have Sparkinson's or something?"

Snarkinson's Disease

A common neurologic disease caused by uncontrollable bouts of snarkiness, a combination of sarcasm, snottiness and cynicism. Signs of the disease include sarasctic comments, witty quips, and rude comebacks.

Jamie's rude comments and snotty remarks in the meeting lead me to believe she may be suffering from Snarkinson's disease.

A progressive neurodegenerative disease that causes tremors, stiffness, and rigidity in the muscles. There is no known cause or cure. Mohammad Ali and Michael J Fox both suffer from early onset Parkinson's disease. Early onset parkinsons often ends in a wheel chair with the ability to only move their eyes.

My father was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

Alcohol Induced Parkinson's

Alcohol Induced Parkinson's (or AIP), is the term used to describe the uncontrollable, Parkinson's-esque tremors experienced after a heavy night on the sauce. Main culprits are spirits, sugary cocktails and highly caffeinated beverages. Not to be confused with cold induced shivers or regular Parkinson's.
