Get the SOTTL mug.One of the most important principles of Big Dick Diplomacy. The term was coined on January 26, 1900 by Theodore Roosevelt when his coworker expressed his frustration of not being able to get laid. Roosevelt proclaimed, "Speak softly and carry a big dick, you will get laid." He took Roosevelt's advice, although it has never been officially confirmed if he got laid.
Coworker: "Why can't I get laid?, I always get rejected."
Roosevelt: "Next time you get rejected try using Big Dick Diplomacy. Speak softly and carry a big dick, you will get laid."
Coworker (5 minutes later): "Thanks for the advice, I just got laid."
Roosevelt: "Awesome, I told you it works."

Get the Speak Softly and Carry a Big Dick mug."Padron e sotta"(Master and servant) is a southern italian, card based, drinking game. In every game the one who gets the higher score is the Padron, the second higher score is the Sotta.
The Padron has to make invitation and the Sotta has to accept or decline, making some people drink and other no, forming teams.
Padron - "A glass of beer to Aldo and two to Stefano"
Sotta - "No"
Padron - "A glass to you and one to Aldo"
Sotta - "Yes"
The game ends when everyone has drank at least a glass (usually of beer, wine in the old days), or when
the number of rounds prearranged is reached. A round ends when everyone has been the dealer.
The person who hasn't drank for the whole game is called "Urm" and will be mocked for the rest of the evening. (for the rest of his life if the game was really competitive)

This is usually the product of design flaws, overlooked mechanics or levels, or simply glitches embedded in a game.
The most common way to escape a softlock is to restart the game from the beginning.
Examples of a softlock may include but are not limited to: death on spawn, spawning inside a wall, a game autosaving right the instant before you die, etc.
Gamer1: "Dude, the yesterday I reached the hardest level in the game, but the game autosaved while I had 1 HP and a monster was shooting at me. Now everytime I load my save file I die right away!"
