Potency grows with age, poor life choices, or body count, whichever comes first. Plausible deniability is most often found where the last phase is declared.

Nocism

An intentional response which breaks down a more technical word into a simpler word (layman's terms) in an obvious attempt to be humorous while using the prefix "I don't know about that, but _______."
Can also be unintentionally used by simple people with very, small vocabularies.
Nocism
1st Person: "You really should be more apologetic."
2nd Person: "I don't know about that, but I am really sorry about it."

1st Person: "Is it really necessary for you to be so demeaning to her."
2nd Person: "I don't know about that, but I don't look down on her."
