An ideology based on deceptive and typically balkanizing rhetoric used by incompetent politicians and criminal elites who attempt to convince the masses that if they could just kill or convert everyone who doesn't agree with them then the world would a perfect place to live.

Wakadoo: "Silence is golden"

Wakadoo: "Because I have a right to free speech"

Wise man: "Then why don't you speak up?"

Wakadoo: "Because its wrong to disagree"

Wise man: "Then how do you find the truth?"

decision lane

The vaguely-triangular strip of road separating a highway exit from the actual off-ramp. So named because drivers will use the space to stop and make decisions, merge through to the off-ramp after making split-second decisions, and/or crash into water-filled barrels or exit signs contained therein after failing to properly make a decision.

(To a passenger) Did you see that guy cut through the decision lane?
(To another driver) Nice use of the decision lane, idiot!
(Relating a story) Ted really needed to stop, so he parked in the decision lane.
(Relating directions) You can merge off the ramp that's next to the decision lane without any barrels.

Not our division

Phrase popularized by the 2nd series finale of the BBC programme Sherlock--put simply, not one's responsibility, strong suit, or "area." Can also be used in terms of personal preferences--e.g. "blue jeans really aren't my division," or in reverse to show an interest in something--e.g. "Tom Baxter's face is my division."

Mom: please put the laundry in the dryer.
Me: Not our division. (You can say "not my division," but definition wouldn't let me.)

Friend 1: College is so not my division.

Me: mmmm dinner and a movie, looks like my division.

cupcake decision

Similar to Cocaine Decision an irrationally optimistic impulsive decision to start a vintage or retro small business, with no idea of who will actually pay good money for the flowery-heart-craft-thing, wavy hair or indeed cupcake, that is proposed.

"It's on handmade paper with natural dyes and each one takes 2 hours of my time so I think fifteen pounds for a birthday card is fair, right?"

"I love the whole retro look and at least 2 of my friends bought some off me so everyone will..."

"Have you thought that through? sounds like a cupcake decision to me..."
