An inaccurate digital copy of the mind of a specific
person, made only from data about them instead of a brain scan, or made from a corrupted scan, which believes itself to be an exact copy or continuation of the original
person. This term especially applies if they inhabit a biological
body.
Panelist at a sci fi convention:
Of course
Zoe Graystone from "Caprica" is literally a cylon...it's directly stated in the
show. And I agree that Nanette Cole from "Black Mirror" is one too, since she was made only from a
DNA scan. Aida from "Agents of Shield" is almost one, with that
human body, but she doesn't think she is a copy of a real person. Bishop from "Legends of Tomorrow" is made from a brain scan, but it was corrupted by repeated copying, so he ends up being a cylon by the end. Holly Marten from "Eureka" wasn't properly scanned, and then was given a
human body, so she might be a cylon too.
