Bromotion

The act of taking a relationship with a male friend to the next level. This can be something as trivial as adding a friend to your buddy list on AIM once you realize that you actually give a crap about talking to him. This could also be something as significant as giving your bro an actual promotion on the job front.

How'd you get that KM position?

Well the GM, Mark, is my boy, he gave me a bromotion.

Why is Kyle on your buddy list Cesar?

He says some pretty cool shit so I gave him a bromotion.

When two bros consummate their bromance, usually through copious amounts of drinking complaining about women problems and/or with a bro hug accompanied by an "Dude, I love you man!"

Bro 1: "Dude, I love you man!"

Bro 2: "Dude, I love you too! We don't need those girls anyway!"

Onlooker 1: Why are those two frat guys bro hugging?

Onlooker 2: They just got dumped by their girlfriends, so they came here to drink away their sorrows. But they just ended up having a bromotional hook-up.

When two guys have a strong friendship. This friendship could be described as being "best friends" These two bros will hang out with each other every chance they get because theu enjoy each others company so much and have fun being around each other. This relationship is a hetero one.... no homo involved but these guys will be hanging out so much that people will think they are in love with each other.

Matt to his girlfriend Mandy: Hey I'm hanging out with Lucas today.

Mandy: Again? I'm getting jealous of this brolationship!!!

Many might think that the appearance of such material on a workplace monitor would lead to firings or at least a stern talking-to. When two guys who consider eachother "bros" try to get emotional with eachother without being "gay". Getting "Bromotional" usually leads to long akward moments and even more akward man hugs.

Here is an example of two guys being bromotional:
Josh: What wrong dude, you've been acting like, bitchy all night
Jack: Me and Sarah broke up man
Josh: Oh dude. im sorry
Jack: I thought she was the one
Josh: Yeah dude, she sucked your dick
Jack: I really loved her
Josh: Dude, you always got your bros man
Jack: Yeah I know
Josh: You always got your bros, you'll go from girl to girl, but you always got your bros
Jack: I love you man
Josh: Me too, but I'm not gay
Jack: Dude, I know
Josh: Yeah, sorry
(They man hug. Josh then lightly punches Jack on the shoulder to show that he's not gay)
