Sideman Syndrome

This is the case of being a sideman to everyone, even if you are in a new friend's group you are still a sideman. To identify someone infected with sideman syndrome you must spot the sideman in a group if friend's which are sidemen.

A product or service (usually software based)that looks profoundly revolutionary, extraordinary or ground breaking, but only exists in the form of Power Point pictures. Pejorative term for the fake garbage used to solicit and obtain billions of VC money during The Bubble. Led to numerous heartbreaking all nighters by the poor fools that actually had to try to implement the half baked flakey promoters' con artist Vision.

The electric dog polisher could have changed the world according the the slideware, but none of the code or design ever really existed. The promoter walked off with millions in golden parachute money

slidea

A slidea (pronounced SL-idea) is an idea that a person just slides into, without really thinking about it.

It involves one or more of the many fallacies inherent in illogical thought.

Political and religious propaganda are the two most common methods of distribution for slideas.

Joe: I heard that after the new liberal administration is reworking taxes so that the richest people pay more and the poorest people get bigger breaks.

John: I read that after that, they are going to restructure society where we are all assigned jobs at random and have to stand in line for bread.

Jack: What gave you that slidea?

Mark: He got it from that angry conservative blog he's always reading!

Sideman

An irrelevant and powerless guy, also known as a 'flowerman' and shows signs of 'moist' and 'soggy' behaviour.

There are two types of Sidemen:
1) the 'Bupsed guy' who finances a girl's shopping sprees and receives no sex in return.
2) the general wetwipe; often a guy who is emotionally unstable, and isn't rated by anybody -- not even friends.

A Sideman is the male counterpart to a Sidechick.

Chris: What, did Steven beat that yeah?

Tyrone: Nah man, he took her shopping then she ducked.

Chris: Steven is a sideman bruv!

Slidimation

A type of media in which a set of spaced out images are displayed in a sequence to help visually express a story often paired with a narration or a song. Slidimation is similar to a slideshow but has a greater emphasis on smaller changes in position such as expressions and locations of a character as well as the occasional use of motion tweens to slide images across the canvas. Slidimation is often confused with animation as well as animatics, however, animation differs because it is a medium in which the illusion of movement is created by placing several frames in-between keyframes which slidimations lack, while the latter is simply one of the preliminary stages in the development of an animation. People who create slidimations, much like animators, are labeled "slidimators."

Slidimation is often confused with animation because both are popular mediums in which to tell a story using a sequence of images or drawings. An example of a popular Youtube slidimator would be Wolfychu.

slidewalk

A normal sidewalk that has become covered by a layer of ice, causing it to become nearly impossible to walk on. Slidewalks often result in embarassing and painful tumbles for joggers, dogwalkers, and anyone else willing to brave the below-freezing temperatures to get from point A to point B.

Sarah regretted going for a run outside when the slidewalk she was on became too slippery to run on and she fell on her ass.
