screenburn

The irritating feeling of the skin caused by long exposure to the rays of the computer screen especially in the dark room or at night.

Screenburn is actually caused by the eyes seeing screen too long but the brain mistakenly feel the pain on the face area causing screenburn effect.

I'm having a bad screenburn after working 6 hours straight at night. Now I need to cool my face down.

screenbathing

For someone to sit in front of a screen (e.g. computer, television or gaming system) for a long period of time. This activity often results in a screentan; unlike a suntan, screentans make the skin whiter from lack of sunlight. Screentans can also be referred to as screenbleaches for this reason.

So what you been up to today?
Person B:
Nothing much, been screenbathing for the last few hours

Description of physical state that occurs after viewing digital media for significant amounts of time. Characterized by (but not limited to), headache, sore eyes, dry eyes, dry mouth, stiff muscles, depression, feelings of loneliness, disorientation, light-headedness or irritiability.

After playing video games for 12 hours, Joe was showing signs of screenbrain.

The kids of today are the generation who are not allowed out into the real world to experience life, risk, love, danger. In fear of what could happen, they only want to watch life through a screen.
