Preservation

That's right. Haven't seen the guy in years but this is all his handy work along with others. A writer for a paper that I read when I worked down town. I would walk from one job site to another. They had crazy parking regulations and I had to park my car 8 blocks from where I was working at the time. Restoring 100+ year old houses. One home I was lucky to work on had this amazing feel to it. The wall papers that were extracted from under layers of paint were so unique and personal. It was such tedious work to help restore all those ceiling mantles. The columns out side the house were on the lower porch level Ionic and the upper level were Corinthians. The Red paint in the Tobacco leaf's of the columns were so thick I had to use a process with a heated gun and dental tools to remove 100+ years of over painting to restore it to a natural eggshell white. Reconstructed together I was so amazed at how a simple restoration job became part of my own history as well. Walking daily from this job to my car to drive 58 miles home to the town I lived and go threw life's routine every day. I could always here the echo of the guides talking and their story's and accounts of the property's. Their was this one voice that would always catch my attention when I was walking. He gave a great presentation. I waved to this tour guide daily he waved back with a smile. Always from a distance a voice with out a face. I was covered in lime, mortar, paint, and solvents from the jobs.
Usually smelling like a Pitina solution I was using with a blow torch to give bathroom fixtures that historic look. Recently I found out that some one I lost touch with over the years was the man giving those tours down town. The man that would wave to me almost every day for a year. I wounder if he realised he was waving to me too.

Ironmongers I'm In Love with William every thing he is, does and lives. To tell the history of a love correctly tell them I let it go to see if fate would one day step in. You are amazing. I loved then, I love you now more than I could say in simple words. If you did this all to bring my name out for one thing. Tell it true. Love is not in the game. Love in not simply the play of the field. It is preservation, patients, collective ideas, connections, emotions without sight but seeing clearly that, Love finds you entranced at one glance and that is all it took for me Sir William. You deserve the world I cannot show you but always wanted to see with you. Alas I am not who you love and never was.

Preservation-fucked

When your community saves so much water/electricity, that your water/electricity company has to raise its prices for usage, so then going back to using water/electricity more laid back will become a bad idea.
"Why is water becoming more expensive for the city now?"

"Oh, cause last year I tried really hard to encourage everyone to save water in several different ways. I guess more people acted than expected."

"Well thanks to you, the WHOLE city is preservation-fucked!"

preservation through destruction

1-To remember something vividly by destroying it completely.
2- To keep something only after destroying it.
"At 250,000 miles, all we had left of that truck was it's preservation through destruction."

"After the apocalypse, it was said that cities were to be remembered by their preservation through destruction."

Preservation of Causality Theory

A framework emphasizing that causality is preserved across all physical interactions, no matter how extreme. Preservation of Causality suggests that cause and effect are not just regularities but inviolable structures of reality. Even in quantum mechanics, even in general relativity, even in speculative physics—causes precede effects. The theory doesn't explain how; it posits that preservation is fundamental. It's the physicist's article of faith: causality holds, always and everywhere.
Preservation of Causality Theory "Quantum mechanics seems random—effects without apparent causes. Preservation of Causality says: the causes are just hidden, not absent. Randomness is ignorance, not violation. Causality always wins. The theory is a bet: keep looking for causes, and you'll find them. Causality preserved, always."

Village Green Preservation Society

The Kinks are the village green preservation society.
This phrase is derived from an album called

"The Kinks are The Village Green Preservation Society," released by The Kinks in 1968. It was uniquely out-of-step with its time. Everyone else was singing about rippling rainbows and purple trees, Ray Davies was singing about a happy England which never really existed in the glory in which he paints it, but which could if everybody listened to this album!

God Bless the Village Green and God Save The Kinks!
The Village Green Preservation Society:
"We are the office block persecution affinity,
God save little shops, china cups and virginity."

Village Green:
"Out in the country, far from all the soot and noise of the city,
there's a village green.
It's been a long time, since I last set eyes on the church with the steeple, down by the village green.
It was there I met a girl called Daisy, and kissed her by the old oak tree."

The Self Preservation Society

1) See 'The Italian Job' (Original, dumbass)
2) A small group of people in North-East Kansas, who have a pact to preserve each other's entire bodies in jars when they die, so that generations aftr them can learn what it is like to scream in horror.
1) 'This is The Self Preservation Society'
2) 'I pledge to pickle my brother, and uphold the sacred laws of The SPS.

Semen Preservation

Semen preservation is the theory that by not ejaculating you are preserving your "essence" of which makes you a man. It makes you charismatic-ly magnetic to women, while those with the "cavemen mentality" think that the point of sex and life is to bust a nut. In reality, you hold your semen in and the sex will keep on flowing. The thinking is that semen separates men from women, so when you get rid of it you lose that masculinity. The claim is that women can sense this.
Frat Bro: "Semen Preservation is the only thing making you a man, so when you bust a nut you are saying 'I don't want to be a man!' I had sex 14 times in one day and didn't bust a nut once!"

Surf Dracula Syndrome

A phenomenon in film/television series, most notably streaming series, where the main premise is drawn out to such a point that it takes an entire season or more to get the parts of the series the audience is actually interested in seeing.

For example, if a series is titled "Surf Dracula," a majority of viewers would tune in expecting to see Dracula surfing by the first or second episode. However, the entire first season would instead be tedious padding and backstory before finally ending with Dracula surfing in the last five minutes of the season finale.
I watched "Smallville" on Netflix the other day. Dude, it was ten seasons of filler before he finally flew! Major Surf Dracula Syndrome!
