plurality method

This method of determining the "winner" of a competition or election is common in many of the countries around the world that vote for their leaders. Unlike the "majority method" that requires 50% or more of the votes to win, the plurality method relies only on the winner to have the most percentage of a vote.
Here is one example of the plurality method in work.

Three candidates are running for office in a small community. Roughly 1000 people cast votes on election day; after the votes are tallied,

candidate A receives 34% of the votes,
candidate B receives 30% of the votes,
candidate C receives 36% of the votes.
None of the candidates received 50% to win in a majority vote. However, candidate C would have won because he/she gained the largest percentage of the votes.

Pluralistic Society

This is any society in which citizens can legally and publicly hold multiple competing ethical views and are allowed to choose for themselves what ethical beliefs if any they wish to hold. It is often mistaken for a society which tolerates different ethical beliefs or groups of people and holds that all are equal, which is correctly identified as moral relativism, a logically invalid position held by mush of the world today.

Pluralis

A developmental stage in young human males where the penis shrivels and falls off and a new adult penis grows in its place. This process may be uncomfortable and take several weeks to fully complete. Pluralis is often unrecognized due to its sensitive nature, and considered a normal part of the human males' mid puberty stage.

"Oh man, you didn't hear? He's out of school with pluralis. He peed his pants because he wasn't used to peeing without a dick."

"DAD I NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL!"
"What happened son?!?"
"MY DICK FELL OFF IN THE BATHROOM THIS MORNING! "
"Oh that's completely normal, I guess it's time we had 'the talk' son. Don't worry, that was just your baby dick, your adult dick will grow in soon enough."

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
