"total state of douche-baggery"; a mental disorder in which the sufferer simultaneously holds two opposing view points on some particular issue; particularly if the two view points are mutually exclusive; often seen in circles of religious fanatics and fringe politicos.

John McCain going on an anti-MMA crusade because it's "too violent", and then a few short years later voting to go to war where tens of thousands are killed.
