Nellieland

The most perfect place in all the world, ruled by Jody, a.k.a. The Jodster. It is a tiny slice of heaven on lake Ossipee. There, girls sing and dance... sometimes in their underpants! The people there are amazing and every day is too much fun. Chocolate Chip pudding is sacred. Huckins camp - for two weeks or four - how I wish there were more.

newsies 

An extremely underrated and unknown Broadway musical that deserves much more recognition than it ever got. Based off the 1992 Disney film of the same name, which was in turn based off the real life Newsboys' Strike of 1899. Won Tonys for Best Score and Best Choreography. Initially performed at the Papermill Playhouse in 2012 after adaptations to the script by Harvey Fierstein, lyrics by Jack Feldman and score by Alan Menken, moved to Broadway featuring Jeremy Jordan and Jack Kelly, Andrew Keenan-Bolger and Crutchie and Ben Fannkhauser as Davey, along with Kara Lindsay as Katherine. Initial run was supposed to be 12 weeks at the Nederlander Theatre, extended to one year and eventually named open ended by Disney, until closing on August 24, 2014. Closing cast featured Corey Cott as Jack, Andy Richardson as Crutchie and Ben Fankhauser as Davey, as well as Liana Hunt as Katherine. The production was sent on tour for 2015 around the US, featuring Dan Deluca as Jack, Zachary Sayle as Crutchie and Jacob Kemp as Davey, along with Stephanie Styles as Katherine. A high energy show with amazing dancing and attractive, flexible newsboys hawking headlines across the stage. Many words have come out of the fandom, including Fansie and Toursies, the words for fans of the show or movie and the touring cast.

We saw Newsies on closing night and drowned in our tears at Corey's "Santa Fe" and Andy saying "I love you" to his family in ASL.

Nellie Veitenheimer 

A beautiful girl who is the daughter of the musical god, Apollo. She has dark hair, dark eyes and is the sweetest person you will ever know to exist. She was a competitor on the show The Glee Project in the summer of 2012. Since then, the world has been introduced to the amazingness that is Nellie Veitenheimer. Although she is rather tiny in size, she can sing bigger than everything. Even that creepy neighbor who eats too much down the street. She can sing bigger than elephants. Nellie Veitenheimer is a Ship Queen, and is often put into relationships by her fans with everything; including her cat, a jar of Nutella, her two best friends Blake Jenner and Michael Weisman, and you will probably end up wanting to date her as well. Even if you are a straight girl or gay man, you will find yourself in love. She is a skilled photographer and an amazing songwriter and writer in general. She owns a Tumblr in which she connects with her fans. She also is very weird, but you will also love that. She is the reason why most people hate Ryan Murphy, and why people are cutting their hair now. She has numerous videos on YouTube, showcasing her unique talent. Unlike most girls, Nellie's voice has an unforgettable rasp and jazz-esque feel to it.

a shortened version of "Nelly Duff". Nelly Duff = puff (breath) in Cockney rhyming slang. 'Not on your Nelly' is used to mean 'Not on your life'. "Breath" is synecdochical for "life"

Nellie 

Sweet, beautiful girl, very intelligent and creative. Though very stubburn and often pessimistic. More of a leader then follower. Often not one of the most popular girls around, but does have a group of friends. You would be very lucky to have a Nellie in your life. Wether a friend or lover. Nellie's often switch back and forth from the dark and light side. They will get evil if pushed to it, but will be an angel if treated right. Love to pull pranks! And often act before thinking.
