monthuary

A promotional event or sale, typically lasting for an entire month, whose name is a blend of a descriptive word or phrase and a suffix denoting a month (especially -uary). Often used humorously or for marketing purposes to draw attention to the sale.

monthsary

An important day, very much like an anniversary, but it is celebrated in terms of months, as opposed to anniversaries which are celebrated in terms of years. The only difference is that there are only 11 monthsaries for a certain event, the 12th would already be an anniversary.

If a couple got together on April 18, their monthsary, rather, monthsaries, would be on May 18, June 18, July 18, ..., until March 18 of the following year. Then, The next 18th, which is April, would be logically, their first anniversary.

1. A place where a man can go to get away from the world, more generally a place where your wife and your mistress are not. It can be a permanent structure such as a special room in the house (commonly a basement)or could be the fishing boat.
2. An area or activity that men congregate to let it all hang out with out being called disgusting. A place where men can freely scratch their balls, burp, fart and use foul language without having to worry about who they will offend.
3. A location where a man can be alone without certain distractions and gather his thoughts.

a corruption of anniversary, "anniversarius" latin for "annus" (year) + "versarius" (to go back to or revisit).

disambiguation:

1. "month" in latin is mensis. thus, it should be "mensiversary", or menses for brevity, since anybody who celebrates this thing, more likely than not, is having his/her monthly period.

2. since "month" is named after the moon (luna in spanish), then it is very safe indeed to consider that anyone who celebrates this event is a lunatic.

Monthday

A monthly holiday celebrated by calling off work or ditching school for no good reason on the third Monday of every month. A day to recover from Sunday Funday, too much Football, or a three-day bender. After receiving that second paycheck of the month, with no major bills to be paid, it allows extra time to spend frivolously and act lazily, foolishly, or otherwise irresponsibly.

After watching the Bears-Vikings game on Sunday Night Football at the Mirage Sportsbook bar, Jeremy realized that it was Monthday Weekend, so instead of getting on his plane to go home and get ready for work, he decided to stay in Vegas one more night and get a hooker instead.
