Midriff Crisis
The female version of the midlife crisis. Often times it involves a tummy tuck and/or any other plastic surgery procedure to make her look younger.
"I saw Wanda coming out of the plastic surgeons office today. I'm guessing her Midriff Crisis is kicking in hard. I should know. That's why I was there, too."

midriff
Midriff is a coin termed by Douglass Rushkoff of PBS's "Frontline" on an episode entitled "Merchants of Cool." Midriffs are young girls and women(teens-early 20s) whos behavior is a curious mixture of "innocent" and "slutty." Midriff culture is fairly standardized and quite conformist. Their behaviour seems centered around sexuality, narcissism, and complete lack of brains. Rushkoff argued that mass-media replaces teenage individuality with a glorified archetype; midriffs, when referring to females. Hypersexuality and shallowness are often attributed to teenage girls(and something that parents of every generation complain about), so the behavior isn't necissarly new, nonetheless, the notion of Midriff culture being a standardized and conformist patten of behavior rather than youthful exhuberance is scary indeed.

When somebody gets very cross over something which others may consider insignificant. Also a maddiff is never stated by the other person only observers and people around there. A maddiff can also be online when somebody replies to a comment on facebook etc and gets a bit cross about what was said.

French slang, which translated, means "bull's fashion" but basically equates to "hyper trendy" or overly trendy. Used when a person wishes to express distaste at the latest fashion trend/fad, because it seems that everyone has a certain item of clothing or is wearing it. This term is most frequently heard in Paris but is slowly spreading to other parts of France.

Glippy
A slang term for GLP-1 medications(like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, etc.), usually referring to their appetite-killing, weight-loss, or “I forgot to eat” effects rather than the medical details.
Usage:
* Often casual, ironic, or meme-y
* Can imply effortless weight loss, suppressed hunger, or being “powered by pharmaceuticals”
Notes:
Not a brand name—just shorthand for the whole GLP-1 wave. Frequently shows up in online jokes, gym talk, and group chats where people pretend they’re *totally* doing it naturally.
