Kafuffle  

Noisy, non-violent confusion, perhaps involving some scuffling, arising through ignorance or incompetence

I am Australian and have been using "kaffufle" all my life, although I just realised I did not know how to spell it.
Students were causing such a kafuffle in the hall that a security officer had to investigate.

Kerfluffle 

A situation which results from multiple parties engaging in violent, sporadic, or uncontrollable behavior.
Those two puppies caused a kerfluffle at the dog park.

Kerfluffle 

Verb: To rile up, confuse, or anger a cat (especially kittens) into fluffing up. Sometimes results in a cat spazzing out and running around the residence.
The cat was so kerfluffled you could hardly see its legs under all the fur.
