democrácity

A measure of the collective approval a population has for its government (or regime) based on some weighted combination of scores obtained by polling the public across a comprehensive range of issues & government actions.

Whereas democratisation is the process of making a regime more democratic, democrácity refers to the actual level achieved. (Just like heating something is different from the temperature it has.)
The CIA has developed a concept called polity which is somewhat similar but not the same.
While democracy (misleadingly) tends to be thought of as an all or nothing thing, democrácity (more realistically) can range over continuum.
The film "The Rise & Rise of Michael Rimmer" is about a polling agency expert who moves into politics & becomes Prime Minister & instigates continuous polling on all matters - even the most trivial - & raises the democrácity of the country to 100%. However, the populace is eventually exhausted by this & acquiesce in one final vote to pass absolute power to him alone, resulting in 100% dictatorship!

Social democracy

A government ideology arguing for a mixed economy, where a free market monitored by the government prospers.
While Bernie Sanders dubs himself a democratic socialist, in reality he is closer to the system of social democracy found in Scandinavia

Social Democracy

A Social Democracy is essentially Capitalism with strong social programs to protect the marginalized and disabled.

This is not the same thing as Socialism, or Democratic Socialism.
If you are a Social Democrat, then you support a Social Democracy.

Our Democracy

System in which you do and vote exactly as instructed by left-liberal Democratic media and political establishment. Our Democracy™ is often threatened by things such as parents, guns rights, ethnic homogeneity, transparency, voter ID laws, free speech, voting for stuff media and Democratic Party doesn't like, not supporting BLM or any other Current Thing, and many others.
The Atlantic: Allowing parents to decide if teachers should give their children pamphlets about Genderqueer Castration Theory is threatening Our Democracy™

CNN: Voter ID laws would stop illegal immigrants and dead people from voting, and it's threatning Our Democracy™

MSNBC: Watching news networks that don't say the same shit we say is threat to Our Democracy™

democrapitalism

The combination of democracy and capitalism frequently utilized in a very large North American country (and many others) that subverts the best aspects of both systems by allowing people with large quantities of money to buy legislation through the use of organizations like PACs and SuperPACs. Thus you get all of the market competition of communism coupled with the representatives who speak the interest and will of the public like fascism.
The current SOPA/PIPA debacle in the US Congress is pure democrapitalism. It's a prime example of a lobbyist group writing legislation and submitting it via their pet legislator.

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.
