Corona comforts

All of the things that we crave and feel that we need, augmented by our sense of isolation, during Pandemic Life.
My Corona comforts consist of a new ritual when I get home from work; I snuggle into my fake fur blankie while devouring a pint of vanilla bean ice cream smothered in melted chocolate, without watching the news, and then I climb into a hot bath prior to some torrid and delicious comfort sex with my sweetheart!

preacher comforts

Any relief or succour got from a religious body, particularly in times of stress (confession) or dire straits (last rites)
After the divorce he thought that he was Hell bound, until he recieved some preacher comforts

Comforting Mrs. Rosen

Euphemism for sticking your dick where it doesn't belong.

Origin: Don Draper's explanation to his daughter, Sally, after she walked in on him sleeping with a neighbor.
Where have you been?

Oh, I was just comforting Mrs. Rosen.

All night long?

She was really upset.

comfort movie

Like comfort food, a comfort movie is a movie that one watches to feel less shit and a movie that evokes many positive/lovely feelings in that one person.
"Everytime I feel down, I like to watch my comfort movie which is any one of the Harry Potter movies and eat my favourite comfort food, chocolate.""

Comfort Character

A fictional character that you're immensely emotionally attached to. People with comfort characters tend to fantasize scenario's in their head with their "comfort character", giving them a feeling of wellness and comfort (hence the "comfort"). Contrary to popular belief, comfort characters aren't always looked at in a sexually explicit way. Most people genuinely adore their comfort character and use them to cope with their mental difficulties
"My comfort character is Feng Xin from TGCF!!"

"Thats so swag !!! Mine is Xie Lian"

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
