Avon Center Stage Performers
a.k.a. ACSP
A theatre club at Avon High School The coolest thing at the school, by far. IF you think girls aren’t funny, join this group and you’ll change your mind. It’s O.K. if you don’t though, ‘cause we can just kill you. (That wasn’t a threat) (That last part was a lie) The guys aren’t very funny, but are still accepted. Most of us are in Scene Night too, and a lot of us are in the spring play. We’re a very tightly knit group of friends, and consider each other family. Old Greg is a favorite of ours. Mrs. Riley is the theatre/geometry teacher at Avon High and also supervises the program. She is the coolest person of us all, and we love her very much. :D Basically this is the greatest thing to happen to anybody who’s ever been in it and without it we would all go on a killing spree.

Often found in the bios of 12-20 year olds; the largest demographic being high school underclassmen.
A way for 'actors' to showcase how cool and 'theatre-y' they are. (See also, drama kid).
It is important to note that real actors would never have this bio - as they don't feel the need to constantly justify to their internet friends how 'theatre-y' they are. Those who use this bio are often only interested in theater for the social aspect of it.
Often people with this bio follow pages such as "Theatre Problems"
Variations include, "U can find me center stage", "Aspiring actor", "Probably on stage", "Can't, I have rehearsal"

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
