carbozo 

(car BO zo, alt. Italian pronunciation car BO tso): someone who drives mindlessly and timidly, with too little attention to the driving process, too little training and skill for the environment and insufficient courtesy and respect for other vehicles. A carbozo, unlike a so-called "aggressive" or, more properly, "assertive" driver, slows down traffic and inconveniences others by excessively timid behavior, delaying and deflecting positive and committed driving decisions. The carbozo may believe this to "safer" but in fact this behavior results in less actual safety as the carbozo's weak and timid actions and poor vehicle control create surprises and may require avoidance maneuvers by more skilled drivers trying to anticipate traffic behavior and flow with traffic safely and efficiently. Carbozos are usually the root cause of rolling slowdowns during prime commute hours due to their fear of the traffic density and their reactive and overly cautious less than optimal speed.

I had a hellish commute today. The carpool lane was full of carbozos who slowed down to the speed of the stop and go traffic in the main lanes.

Carbozos are usually the root cause of rolling slowdowns during prime commute hours due to their fear of the traffic density and their reactive and overly cautious lane and speed choices.

Commute traffic was terrible today. The carpool lane was full of carbozos going only slightly faster than the stop and go traffic in the main lanes.

carbobomb 

A food item, high in starch or sugar (or both). Can be meal or snack. Induces initial blood sugar boost, followed by overwhelming sugar low or "carb comas" within a few hours of ingestion.

Krispy Kreme closed? What the hell? Where am I going to get my morning carbobomb?

Poutine has been described by a CNN personality as: "a carbo-bomb the likes of which you've never tasted before."

The carbobomb exploded at 3pm this afternoon. The only casualty: my ass.
