Tattoos are amazing art for the human body. You must be 18 to legally recieve one unless your parents are complete morons and decide to sign for you when you're too young...in which case you'll probably get a dumb-ass tattoo like a hand gun with "187" above it because you think you're a gangster!

Tattoos, for adults who have an actual brain inside their skull, are a way of telling their life story or a way of remembering things or people you love. Getting a tattoo is not something little kids should do because if you're not mature you will get something really stupid that you will regret later in life because you'll then realize that it REALLY IS PERMANENT!!! My tattoos are gorgeous because I was smart...HOPEFULLY someone who's thinking about getting something like a "Gang Tattoo" or a "Butter Knife" on their forearm will read this and remind themselves that maybe what you're thinking of getting just might not be that cool!!
Good example..."WOW, I would love to get tattoos on my back so that I can know it's there but I can also cover it up so that I still have a chance to get a good job!"

Bad example...(15 yr old girl) "I want a tattoo, like, soooo bad!! But my mommy and daddy won't, like, let me get one...so I'm going to, like, get this guy from school I know to, like, put my name, like, REAL big across my stomach but, like, real low so my pants will cover it up so, like, my parents can't find out!!"

(After 15 yr old girl gets tattoo, her smart 18 yr old sister see's it)
(Sister) "WOW"
(15 yr old) "You're, like, soooo jealous, huh??!!"
(Sister) "Of what?? The tattoo that you got some some kid at school who stole his brother's USED tattoo gun? OR the fact that I don't have one on my stomach so when I have children it won't be able to stretch on me, look disgusting and hang down and then never being able to show my stomach again??"
(15 yr old) "Like...BUMMER!!"

Something even dorks get these days. They no longer indicate a badass individual, because they've been copied and replicated by so many people that nowadays instead of a few people having a tattoo, there's just a few people left that don't.
That cocky, plain 98 pound dork had tattoos all over her body and thought she could kick anyone's ass just like several million other people think these days. It's kind of like the trend where everyone thinks they are an ultimate fighter, a reality TV/game show badass, Bruce Lee reincarnated, or any variation of many different things people see on TV or youtube. What tattoos have become is not what tattoos were originally meant to be.

Spiderweb Tattoos

The symbol of the 'spiderweb tattoo' means the wearer has, or is currently "doing time." It is most commonly seen on the elbow, neck, or knee. However, one might find this symbol almost anywhere on the body, the placement of the tattoo itself makes no difference. Usually this symbol means that the wearer has done time in jail, or prison. This specific symbol is used to show time locked up, because the spiderweb itself symbolizes how a spider web catches, or imprisons it's prey. This tattoo can be found on all ethnicities, and all different gang affiliates. These days inmates will wear this tattoo to look the part of the "tough guy."

This tattoo can also mean "struggle." If one has been through a certian struggle in their life such as; overcoming a drug addiction, getting out of a gang, getting out of prison/jail, or even something like losing a loved one.

As soon as I saw the hooker tattoos, I knew I wanted to stay away from this "glamour model"

trucker's tan

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.
I had a trucker's tan after driving for 10 straight hours on a sunny day.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.

Pee Calculus

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
I saw Satantango last night, wonderful film but by the 5th hour I had to start doing pee calculus.
