SLGBK
SLGBK stands for Straight, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Kinkster.
It is a sexuality umbrella covering sexual identity, attraction, desire, arousal and interests shaped by the people, characteristics, presentations, roles, dynamics, fetishes or activities someone is drawn to.
Straight, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Kinkster are treated as equal, distinct and overlapping categories of sexuality.
S = Straight person
L = Lesbian person
G = Gay person
B = Bisexual person
K = Kinkster person
Straight is explicitly recognised as a sexuality category rather than being left as the assumed default.
Kinkster is used broadly for people whose sexuality substantially involves kinks, fetishes, presentations, roles, relationship dynamics or activities. This can include BDSM, fetishism, pegging, partner sharing, erotic gender presentation, role reversal play, roleplay, age play, pet play, toy use, sensation play, exhibitionism, voyeurism and other kink based attractions or interests.
The categories can overlap, so a person may identify with one or several parts of SLGBK, including primarily as Kinkster. People may use one label or several.
SLGBK expands the LGBK framework into a broad sexuality umbrella that explicitly includes Straight while preserving Kinkster as a sexuality category in its own right.
T is not included because transgender describes gender identity, while SLGBK is intended specifically as a sexuality framework.
