Thats how we operate

A phrase to describe how people may do something.
John: Sarah, we'll fuck him up, right?
Sarah: duhh, thats how we operate!

illegally operate

(on sth/sone, transitive verb) To lose all interest in what is happening or what someone says, causing one to switch off and shut down emotionally.

Derives from the days of Windows 95 when a program, running into an error, would display a dialog box saying "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down."
"I illegally operated on that idiot ages ago."

Operation PROTECT

A New Zealand (NZ) military operation established to support the New Zealand governments response to Covid 19. The operation was formed when it was discovered that other NZ government departments were completely incompetent, and entirely incapable of doing anything other than cashing their absorbently high pay checks for doing very little. The NZ military then spent approximately 2 years repeatedly correcting the ineptitude of these government departments and guiding them step by step through the simplest of tasks to ensure the containment of Covid 19. This operation was done in conjunction with maintaining all other NZ military outputs, therefore creating significant fatigue of military personnel. This resulted in excessive attrition of service personnel whom were both frustrated with the governments maladroitness, and the militaries senior leadership for their inability to defend their personnel; and instead were only focused on furthering their own careers.
Mate: So what is Operation PROTECT?

Other Mate: So bullshit to bail out the incompetence of the government.

Other mate: The protection of the governments reputation, so everyone doesn't discover they're utterly incompetent and couldn't plan a piss up in a brewery.

Special Military Operation

It's an operation began by Vladolf Putler and its goal is to save the innocent washing machines from the persecution of the Ukrainian Nazis. If Russia didn't have an obsession with cleanliness, the special laundry operation would never have happened.
Special military operation is an honest Russian euphemism for a war of aggression.

Operation Mindfuck

Often called simply OM, Operation Mindfuck was popularlized in "The Illuminatus! Trilogy" by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson. It involves challenging people's perspectives, and shaking them out of their reality tunnels by unexpected actions and events. These usually involve strange twists on normalcy.

Many OMs involve subtlety, so that those whose reality perspective is being challenged don't know whether something's being pulled on them or not. Thus Operation Mindfuck often involves a degree of paranoia.

Operation Mindfuck was created in the 1960s by Ho Chi Zen (aka Lord Omar Khayyam Ravenhurst or Kerry Thornley, co-founder of Discordianism) with fellow Discordians Malaclypse the Younger, The GameMaster of Florin, Dr. Mordecai Malignatus, Harold Lord Randomfactor, and others.

OMs may be performed solo, by a few people, or by a large group. Operation Mindfuck often involves random elements, using the game theory concept that "the only strategy an opponent cannot predict is a random strategy." Participants may use random elements to make decisions, such as rolling dice.

OMs are often done by unconnnected groups of small cells of people, similar to the military tactics of Mao Tse-tung. A participant may know who's in one cell, but have no idea who else is involved in other cells. This makes it extremely difficult to pinpoint and stop those involved.

In the 21st century, OMGASM, or Operation Mindfuck: Golden Apple Seed Mission, was begun by Professor Cramulus and others. In an OMGASM, people spread the word about a coming OM so it can grow everywhere like scattered seeds.

Operation Mindfuck includes: Anti-Protests, Book OM or BookGASM, Culture Jamming, Erister Egg Hunt or EggGASM, Flash Mobbing, Guerilla Communication, Honorary Membership (in non-existent groups), OM Parades (odd and unexpected parades), Postergasm, Project Pan-Pontification, stamping official documents with unofficial Rubber Stamps, Project Jake, and more.
Let's donate some books to the jail where your uncle's locked up and sneak in "Principia Discordia". Give him some ideas for his own Operation Mindfuck on the guards.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.

Pee Calculus

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
I saw Satantango last night, wonderful film but by the 5th hour I had to start doing pee calculus.
