0 - That person is cute or attractive.
1- I have an interest in this person and we will see what will happen.
2- I will pursue them but keep my options open.
3- I'm completely invested in them.

SIOP (S.I.O.P.)

Sitting In Office Procrastinating

We had to do SIOP (S.I.O.P.) to guage the customer interest in our products and plan for production.

SIOP is used to infer having worked on an educated estimation rather than throwing darts or just plain guessing.

SIOP is generally used by people who couldnt use the rule of three to save their lives and cannot be bothered to tuely guage the customer interest..

A properly implemented SIOP process routinely reviews customer demand and supply resources and "re-plans" quantitatively across an agreed rolling horizon. The re-planning process focuses on changes from the previously agreed sales and operations plan, while it helps the management team to understand how the company achieved its current level of performance, its primary focus is on future actions and anticipated results.
