A Jewish song or portion of a song where no words are sung, but syllables, such as la la la, or na na na, or ny ny ny, in a very spiritual way, musically comparable to scat snging in jazz but much more spiritual. Rabbi Menachem Goldberger of Baltimore, Maryland is one of the leading writers of Modern day nigguns.

This niggun works in this part of the service, whereas these other nigguns won't work.

An ancient unit of measure used by the people of central Africa before contact with the white man. Believing it to be no more than native babble, white's claimed that the natives mathematic skills must have come from previous white visitors.
