Nirgut

An ancient unit of measure used by the people of central Africa before contact with the white man. Believing it to be no more than native babble, white's claimed that the natives mathematic skills must have come from previous white visitors. Some remote villages still rely on the nirgut as a way to plot out land and count animals.
One land plot is equal to 12 Nirgut.
