Nübel is a term used to describe a low velocity cannon on a tank made between 1914-1950. Almost all nübel cannons do not exceed past the front of the hull. This term can also be applied to cannons of high caliber, but low velocity. This term can also be applied to small arms that have a very short barrel, pistols excluded.

The Neubaufahrzeug has two nübel cannons. A 75mm cannon and a 37mm cannon.
