Longevimonetaphobia (Lon’-je-vi-mon’-e-ta-pho’-
bia)
From the three words longevity, monetary and Phobia. The deathly fear of living longer than one’s supply of
money. A condition often developed by elders soon after retiring and exacerbated by inflation,
taxes, and failed pension funds. Longevimonetaphobia much more frequently shows up disguised as alimony in divorce settlements.
