To be encrusted means to be superior. "Encrusted" is often used as an adjective to describe almost anything that is the best of its kind.

Waitress: "I highly recommend our quesadillas"
Customer: "But are they encrusted?"
Waitress: "Yes! Don't worry, I'm good for it."
Customer: "Ok Great"
