the act of influencing a crowd to show more attention and excitement towards a lack luster band or song. Arm movements towards the sky, a "c'mon" or eyebrows and head raised are typical ways for a band to improve the fan experience.

An overthrow and/or overhaul of the current power and/or authority system. The king is dead. Out with the old in with the new. Change is imminent ... Brace yourself. Also could mean more of the same with the new king following in his late fathers foot steps.
I seen an image that said “Keep Calm and Carry On” with an Upside Down Crown on top today. The crown is upside down therefore the king is dead.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
