When the slope or gradient of the infection or mortality curve, denoted by the letter m, is increasing alarmingly to the point of almost breaking a new record every day as a new wave sweeps across a number of countries, which are often led by inept or corrupt leaders, who are more interested in their political survival than in saving people’s lives.
What value of m in Covid-m would force the authorities in countries or counties with high casualties or fatalities to implement a new lockdown?

COVID musicians

Musicians who have sprung up during the COVID Pandemic due to having more time at home to learn an instrument.
I’ve bought two ukuleles and a Yamaha keyboard so far; clearly I’ve joined the ranks of the COVID musicians who’ve sprung up all over the world over the last few months!

covid mullet

The fashion practice of wearing professional attire on the top half of one's body while being in pajamas on the lower half. Business on top, apathy on the bottom. Meant to project a poised demeanor on video conference calls while working from home during the covid 19 pandemic, yet underneath it all barely making it out of bed in the morning.
I joined today's virtual finance meeting dressed in a Covid mullet of a cardigan top and the flannel snowflake pajama pants my grandma gave me for Christmas.

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.
