Over his years of experience, and extensive github browsing, he would compend any examples he liked, and their licensing records, to his storage drive. He used an easy method to do this- a script to save each block to a specified directory, and an attributions.txt, with an the identifying key. Probably the name symbol of the main class in a block, but there was no standard naming scheme, so he compiled a list of all the naming schemes he's ever encountered, and uses that in the script to lazily add the proper attribution.
