World's Fair

Many countries gather at what they can the Expo, Exposition; & there's lots & lots of very cool stuff to see & do. Really awesome to hear so many different languages spoken! Interesting to see all the different cultures!

Grandma took me to the World's Fair in Spokane in 1974; they called it Expo '74. Absolutely Fantastic!

world's biggest superstar

A celebrity who has achieved unprecedented and monolithic global mega stardom. An epoch-defining icon who can transcend countries and cultures to receive worldwide adulation.

Etymology: The term is usually associated with the Pop God Michael Jackson. NME editor David Moynihan referred MJ world's biggest superstar in an article "Michael Jackson: 1958-2009 – obituary" dated June 26, 2009.

World's 'Best-Sculpted' Face

Jin from BTS, whose real name is Kim Seok-jin, has been named NUMBER 1 SCULPTED FACE IN THE WORLD or the World's 'best-sculpted' face by the Famous Czech firm CzDollic professional doll-designing and sculpting team founded in 2015.
CzDollic said the star’s face rendered on three dimensions showed “oval features balanced symmetrically that can be filmed from any angle and a beautifully curved mouth.”
The group revealed a specially designed winning trophy for Jin – a crystal cube containing a three-dimensional engraving of his face inside, which gleamed in blue and bore the word “Sculpted.”
Jin’s near-perfect visage also sparked interest in February 2018 when a foreign plastic surgeon analysed his face. After studying 269 Asian male faces, the surgeon said Jin’s face hit the “golden ratio of 1:1.618” – one being the cross distance between ears and the other figure the distance between the chin and hairline.

World's Smallest Violin

When someone is whining and you are tired of hearing it, you can play the world's smallest violin to provide musical ambiance to dramatize their annoying whine. This is accomplished by rubbing your index finger and thumb together and saying, "This is the world's smallest violin, and it's playing just for you."

Joshua: "America would be so much better if we were a communist country. Everyone deserves to have equal wages, we are all people and that is true equality."

Jeffrey (rubbing fingers together): "Do you hear that Joshua? I got the world's smallest violin, and I'm playing it just for you."

world's strongest man

Reknowned strongman competition started in 1977. It involves Several heats who get various points for thier placings in events such as the farmers walk. The weights used in such competitions vary, but 300lb is the lowest generally. Certain stationary endurance events will go over 1000lb.

When first started, the leaderboard was set ablaze by the United States, although this stranglehold (The first three years there were anomalous Europeans getting on the board) was quickly diminished, and Northern Europe has become the dominant power.

The greatest show of force however, is two Icelandians; Magnus Ver Magnusson and Jon Pall Sigmarson, who have each won it four times. There have been a few winners from the UK and central Europe, although Mariusz Pudzianowski (Representing Poland) has blown the competition away since his first entry, along with fellow eastern Europeans

World's Greatest

In Ultimate Frisbee, the World's Greatest is a move in which a player jumps from within the boundaries of the field to retrieve a disc that has flown out of bounds. In order to pull off a World's Greatest, the player must jump from behind the boundary line, catch the disc in midair, and toss it back into the playing field before he or the disc lands out of bounds, which would result in a turnover. Other definitions of a World's Greatest are more specific. Often to truly be considered a World's Greatest, the disc must be caught by a teammate after returning in-bounds, and some variants state that the disc be caught in the opponent's endzone. To maximize glory while attempting the World's Greatest, a player should lay out while making the catch and subsequent toss. The more bones you break, muscles you pull, and teeth you lose while attempting the World's Greatest will increase your glory by a factor of holy shit. When used in speech, the World's Greatest is often shortened to "the Greatest."
