TMKOC is abbreviation of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasma. It's a tv
show based on the "weekly column Duniya Ne Undha Chasma" by Tarak Mehta in Chitralekha magazine.
It originally started as a sitcom based on the source material which had comical story lines with a moral and lesson to learn from each story and laugh along the
way as story unfolds.
But gradually as the
show went on, and the original author died, and the producers become greedy and transformed into a soap opera.
Now the story consists of daily lives of characters and the
small problems which are exaggerated out of proportions then needed, Festival arcs and...

15 years or more.

drunk with his
friends and then gets physically and verbally abused by his wife.

4) a man in his 60s trying to marry someone who is 3 times younger than his age and failing each time.
5) A man in his 40s trying to
scam his brother in
law instead of finding a real job or business and settle down.
6) A wife who has disappeared for years with no good explanation and has abandoned all her duties and promises to return in a festival but
never does.
7) A private tutor and his wife who despited being educated are frequent victims of get rich quick scams.
