Later on he would be known to the general public through appareances on the Free to Choose series, interviews-discussions with William F Buckley, Hoover Institution interviews, Sowell's books and more.
Anecdote: He was a Marxist throughout all his youth, even when taking his Ph.D in Chicago with Milton Friedman as a teacher. However, one summer working as an intern for the Department of Labor made him assume that the general interest and the government interest weren't on the same line.
