Gaelic word meaning an imagined rocky trail, particularly one that leads to a better place. Since adopted into Scots as a comeback to someone who's a bit too optimistic that change will be a good thing, similar to telling someone that the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence.

Scamgelicals such as Copeland, Osteen and others fleece millions from their poor sheep and promise them heaven. Camp Meeting runs a religious Ponzi scheme by promising that for every dollar donated they'll end up receiving up to ten dollars in return.
