Prancing Cera

The Prancing Cera is a photo featuring Michael Cera doing a sort of skip, or "prance". It became quite popular on tumblr within the first two hours of its first post.

The original picture was put up by Edgar Wright August 22, 2010 on flickr.

It soon became a widespread picture on Tumblr, August 24, 2010 around 1:00 - 3:00 am.

It's unclear who first posted this picture, but a Tumblr was made named fuckyeahprancingcera.tumblr.com. She has been credited for starting it.

A facebook group was then made called Prancing Cera, August 24, 2010 at 3.04 am.

Urban Planning

Something that does not exist on the North American continent.
Canadian: Wow, I can't believe it takes me 30 minutes a day just to drive to work!
American: If you think hard, I have to go 45 minutes on road to anywhere!
Mexican: You guys have roads!?

North Americans together: Oh yeah we don't have urban planning...

Planning a diarrhea

"Planning a diarrhea" is a humorous way of referring to a planned sick leave from work, especially when it's not backed by actual sickness, but rather to spend paid sick days for things other than sickness.

Diarrhea is used as an excuse for the leave, as it's cumbersome enough to keep one from leaving home, warrants little explanation, and may not require a doctor's note to justify the sick day, as it can go away on its own.
* So, are you working on Tuesday?

** Nah. I'm planning a diarrhea for that day. Got stuff to do at home.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
