a combination of "poop" and "tard," pooptard is most commonly used in the same context as "idiot" in tne sense that it encompasses the pitiful ridiculousness of something.

it can also carry the same emotion as words such as "dang" and "dammit"

When first created was used to describe a fictional disease, when pee comes out your eyes and poop comes out your mouth. The word is more commonly used as a makeshift swear word. People use the word when angry, scared, stressed, etc.
