Describes something that is fixed or repaired quickly and generically just to work for a short time period until it breaks again and has to be fixed the right way, very much in the same manner NASCAR teams finsih races.

A NASCAR Driver IS AN ATHLETE who competes in a 3500 lb race car, driving 500 miles in as little as 3 hours at speeds up to 190 mph, driving closer to other cars at those speeds than you park next to in the parking lot, and not to mention in cars that interior reaches 140 degrees, while fully clothed in more than one layer of firesuit, and loses about 5-10 lbs per race is sweat, and not to mention having a heart rate equal to that of a marathon runner finishing the 26th mile. and people say they are not athletes. HA

Culturally conservative-Blue Collar- white men with high risk of loosing their jobs.
“NASCAR dads” are very conservative and tend to be very religious. They most likely to be anti-cultural, anti diversity and anti abortion. They are highly influenced by churches and driven by what is perceived as “blind patriotism”. Those conservative “values” tend to drive their vote republican, but since money is always a decisive factor, losing their jobs with a shaky economy could swing their vote and they definitely do not have a problem of being hypocrites.

“NASCAR dads” are culturally conservative-Blue Collar- white men with high risk of loosing their physically demanding jobs due to outsourcing.
