Similar to mansplaining, except used as a response to something sensible said by a woman, or a guy saying something idiotic that has absolutely nothing to do with what was actually said. (My ex used to do it all the time, which is one of the many reasons why he's my ex)

Emma: So you got in another fight with your boyfriend last night?

Chloe: Yeah, but this time I broke up with his bitch ass. I was trying to have a serious talk with him about some really important shit, but he didn't even give enough of of a fuck to say anything that wasn't mansponding.

Emma: Can't blame you for that. Every time I hear a guy either mansplain to me like I'm stupid or manspond like he doesn't give a shit about what I said, it always makes me want to kick him in the balls.
