When your shoelace frays, so instead of replacing the shoelace or the aglet, you wrap it with tape.

"Hey dude, are you replacing your frayed lace?"

"No i'm just kerfluffing it"

Moving things (such as events) around indefinetly.

She said we were going to the mall on Monday, then she moved it to Thursday and then she moved again to Saturday. I think she's just kerfluffing around.
