(n) A person who, for reasons other than religion, strongly dislikes anything to do with holidays and/or the holiday season, especially Christmas. A holiday hater.
Derived from the phrase, "Bah, humbug!" originally spoken by the miser Ebenezer Scrooge in the novella A Christmas Carol (1843) by English author Charles Dickens (1812–1870).
Look at that guy tearing down Christmas decorations. What a humbuggian!
