Where you'd much rather go to than a "location" --- i.e., any spot dat would likely make you feel depressed, such as a funeral or sentencing-hearing.
A "hication" might indeed be a more-desirable venue for a normally-healthy person, but for someone with significant acrophobia, said lofty hangout might actually be LESS palatable than a "lowcation". Merely a feeling of melancholy is generally less severe or debilitating than being terrified of falling.
