A play on the word grimdark, a sub-genre of fantasy fiction, used to signify that although the author might have intended for his work to look dark, the excessive use of edgy elements makes it sound more stupid instead.

She was a talented young woman, mostly known for her work on The Voice. She was unfortunately shot and killed by a deranged fan at a Meet and Greet after her concert. This happened in Orlando, Florida on June 10th, 2016.
