When you send out a text to one of your closest friends in the event that the people you are with ignore you, therefore, making it awkward. It makes it look like you are doing something, and not just a complete loser.

*You Texting*: Hey bro, this is a consolation text, my girlfriend went talk to some people I don't know.

The act of perfoming "COD" otherwise known as Call of Duty. This term applies to any COD such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 or any other form of COD on any console or computer.

Consolation Fries 

The french fries in the bottom of the fast food bag. Just when the disappointment sets in that you've finished your fries, you are pleasantly surprised to find a few more Consolation Fries at the bottom of the bag.

I was sad when I finished my fries before I got home, but at least there are Consolation Fries left.
