Generally 'botuf' is used in the physical sense, someone lurking mysteriously behind you (like in a horror film) or can be used in a sexual way (for example 'Stanley was behind you last night wasn't he !' - 'Stanley was botuf on you last night!' I can't believe he cheated on me!').
