A Jan 

JAN is an acronym for Just Another Narcissist. When you see a person posting something socially popular online to get Likes but with the real intention of shining a spotlight on themselves, they are a Jan. Jan’s follow and post about popular or politically motivated trends, usually within the echo chambers of their own tribes. They live for the Likes. The Likes give them meaning and purpose in life. They are especially careful about photos posted of themselves and make sure that they are crafted to bring attention to themselves.

Susan is such a Jan. Every photo and every post is about her and her identity. She lives for the likes.

Pulling a Jan 

Suddenly turning around and walking away in the middle of a conversation for no discernible reason. If the dismayed interlocutor asks about it the following day, this is typically followed by answers along the lines of: "Duh! I gave you plenty of nonverbal cues that I didn't want to talk."

Person 1 : I was telling him about the issues I have with the project, but he just walked away! How is that even possible?!
Person 2 : Ah, clearly he pulled a Jan on you!

Person 1 : He said he only had a short question, but then he kept talking for an hour about useless stuff, jumping from subject to subject. I feel completely drained!
Person 2 : Oh well, if he does that again, you should consider pulling a Jan on him.

A'janai is a funny, loud and lovely person to be around. she is loyal to all her friends and can build a friendship with nearly everyone. she can come across very chatty and it seems impossible for her to shut up but the best thing to do in that situation is to be honest and tell her to shut the hell up but don't worry she wont take it personally because she is used to it! A'janai is always cracking accidental jokes which her friends love about her. One thing she hates is when people get proper cheeky to her but she knows how to shut them down and put them back in their place. A'janai is always there for the loved ones and close friends so if you ever need her she will always be there for you whenever you need her. before you get to know her she will come across as a goody two shoes but deep down shes the opposite!

Synonymous with "on ice" or on the rocks.
