Herp a Derp

1: A way of saying that something is/sounds stupid. 2: A mean thing to call retarded people.
1: Ya that'll work herp a derp.
2: Haha, look at the herp a derp's helmet.

Herp-a-derp

Another, lesser known name for a special person. Meant to be as offensive as the word retard. Though it can be used as universally as the word "fuck" such as "Quit being a such herp-a-derp" or "go be a herp-a-derp somewhere else". however the word can be butchered to be simply "herp" or "derp". Although some "herp-a-derps" will reverse the word and say "Derp-a-herp". Saying "Herp-a-derp" as a question changes the meaning to "A retard?" or "That Retard?".
"you herp-a-derp", "Herp-a-derp?", "What the Herp-a-derp?",

yerp-a-derp

another way to say yes, or agreeing to something.
Adam- "Did you round that bases with that chick last night?!"
Ryan- "YERP-A-DERP!"

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.
