An acronym standing for "White Man Energy," which is the mindset of one appearing to have unearned confidence, unearned and unshakeable entitlement. Those with WME are never out of place, even when they are outliers in the room. They make those around them feel inferior and wield the power to have their way.
Samantha: My professor has been making inappropriate gestures at me
Mandy: Why don't you report him?
Samantha: I'm afraid I'll get kicked out of school. I wish I had WME so I could get him kicked out.
Karen: Let me speak to the manager
Ron (Cashier): yes ma'am
Becky: Excuse you, stop trying to bully this poor associate. He was just trying to help. I suggest you pay, say "thank you," and do not return until you fix your attitude.
Karen: y y yes ma'am! *Scurries out of the store, clutching her purse*
Ron: I've never witnessed such WME in action. Thanks for defending me 😍
