Tuwale 

Tuwale/Twale/Tuale is a word that comes with hand salute. Unlike most military salutes where one hand is used, both hands are raised (as if in a surrender) to praise a person when Tuwale is said. The origin is most likely amongst youths of Mushin, Lagos (or nearby urban Ghetto) who uses it to pay obeisance to senior authority or just to be a sycophant. The etymology of the word is likely a Yoruba phrase "Tu-owo-le", which literarily translates to "hands spread out". - by Ojise Isedale

Twale 

Pronunciation: Twah(low) - leh(high)

It's a West African slang mostly used by Nigerians. When said, it's used to show respect, appreciation or salute someone with higher reputation or swag than you, or even jokingly with friends and family, most especially when you want something from them. For example: help or mostly money. It's said before and after the request has been granted.

In other words it's used for praising a person in other to get something.

When I saw the chief coming, I raised my hands up, stomped my feet and shouted, "twale sir!" and he gave me 50 Bucks immediately!

~noun~ (twa-lay) When someone is guilty of, or is caught in the act of performing "extra shit" (see definition), which gets in the way of the original plan(s). This person ends up fucking up everything because they cannot stick to the original plans and are acting "twalee."

The original plan was to play an epic round of zombies and then go get something to eat. As soon as the round was over, Pete had to make a phone call to the love of his life, holding the rest of us up from a delicious meal, all the while saying he would only be a few minutes, when in fact he was on the phone for 20-30 minutes and THEN wanted to stop at TWO other stores BEFORE we could go get food, therefore earning him the title of "twalee" for the evening.
