tomato can

In fighting sports, a tomato can is a fighter with low skills who is brought in to pad the record of more promising fighters and give them more ring experience. They are expected to lose. Most professional boxers of any note have dozens of wins in their early careers over tomato cans. The name is believed to come from the fact that tomato cans "leak" red fluid (blood) like a can of tomato sauce.
Bobby "the Fist" Punchalot looks pretty tough, but he's just a tomato can.

Tomato town

The town of one of the most horrific massacres to have ever taken place in US history. The town was relatively small, everyone knew each other, and the town had a close knit community and was generally welcoming. On the day of the tragedy, it started off like no other. People were heading to work, children to school, the regular cycle of everyday life. At approximately 11 AM, the electrical supply went out and the entire town went into a blackout. Nobody knew exactly what was happening, and some suggested that there was some sort of problem in the electrical grid, but little did anyone know what was to come next. The power supply had been blown out by an unidentifiable figure. Shortly after at 11:15, 3 explosions went off in the town center. The people began to panic and scattered in a frenzy as shortly after, gunfire would start to ring out throughout the crowd. Another explosion went off, this time larger than the previous 3. However, everything ended as soon as it started. In only a matter of 20 minutes, 10 people in total were killed, and 45 others were lightly or critically injured, many of which who would succumb to their wounds shortly after. The perpetrator disappeared rather quickly, as a nationwide manhunt was issued for the man responsible. Not that long later, the perpetrator known as “fortnite kid” was brought into custody and sent to stand before the jury, and was given the death penalty by lethal injection.
Oh my god, I just heard that there was an attack on tomato town! Some sources are saying the town was almost entirely wiped out!

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.
